Serevi™ is thrilled to bring the Serevi™ Rugby Training Camp Series to greater Chicago in partnership with The Loyola University Rugby Alumni Board. Male and female rugby athletes ages 14 and up are encouraged to attend this two-day session.
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, April 21 & 22, 2012
Timing: 10 am to 3 pm each day (registration opens at 9:30 am; lunch at 12:30 pm)
Where: Garfield Park
Cost: $125 per athlete (sign up by 04/08/12) $150 per athlete afterwards
What to Bring: Copy of registration confirmation, lunch, boots & mouth guard
Participants will be in almost constant motion, led through a series of drills and games aimed at building and growing core rugby skills, applicable in both 7's or XV's formats. Many of the drills will be segmented by age and/or ability to ensure safety and enjoyment for all participants.
The Serevi team of American, Australian, South African and Fijian coaches will hold campers to a high standard, all while having a ton of fun!
BIG shout out to Tim Hall of BDC Sports and to the Garfield Park Gators Youth Rugby Club for the use of their new pitch and surrounding fields. The entire team at Serevi™ so appreciates both the space and the welcoming spirit with which we have been embraced. See you all soon!
